Marco Ferrante, FIDE Master
I am a scientist who has worked in Denmark, Argentina, Israel, Portugal, and Germany, and I am also a chess enthusiast. I have been playing chess since the age of 12.
I love teaching, studying, and playing chess. I am a certified chess instructor with >15 years of experience.
In 2018, I became FIDE Master (concurrently making a norm of International Master) at the tournament of Benasque, Spain, where I ended up 10th before many titled players.
I have been teaching in several chess clubs in Italy and Israel and to private students from all over the world. I consider myself a devoted teacher. I prepare tailored lessons for my students, and I combine the study of chess fundamentals (classical games, strategy, tactics, endgames, and psychology) with exercises.

In 2022, Caissa Italia published 'Pensa come un pedone', my first chess book, currently available only in Italian.
